James David Rapp, 87, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Memphis, TN. He leaves behind one son, Joe (Jessie) Rapp; two sisters, Carolyn Zink and Susie; and one best friend, Wendell Cody. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Rapp; his parents Harry and Annabelle Rapp; and two sons, David Rapp and Danny Rapp.

James was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was proud of his Amish heritage.  He is a retired United States of America Air Force Veteran and spent a lot of his time with his buddies at the Millington VFW. In his free time, he enjoyed watching his favorite Pennsylvania teams, the Phillies, the Steelers, the Eagles and Penn State. James' favorite pastimes were watching westerns, officiating baseball, softball and basketball, and golfing.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 9:00-10:00am with funeral services starting at 10:00am at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
