James H. Pakala, of Cordova, TN, was taken to the Heavens on April 5, 2010 in Memphis, TN. James left behind his beautiful wife: Sunshine, Son: Jimmy Pakala, Daughter: Kristhe Pakala, Grandchildren: John and Holly and Great-Grandson: James. 93 years young, this man gave his all to both his country and especially his loving family. A Veteran of WWII, he proudly served this country in the United States Marine Corps fighting bravely to defend this great nation. A man who put his family first, he inspired all with his stories. He was a man of honesty, integrity and a believer in a good education. Oh how he will be missed by all who were blessed to be in his presence. Let it be known by everyone that this man lived life to the fullest. Thanks Dad, we are so proud of you. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 10, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Community Church of Christ, 3548 New Brunswick Road in Bartlett, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Graveside services with full military honors will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN.
