James N. Lanham, 71, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away September 9, 2014. He was born April 27, 1943 in Detroit, MI and moved to this area 10 years ago from St. Petersburg, FL. Jim retired after 22 years of service from the U.S. Navy and after retiring he was employed by the State of Florida as an Investigator. Jim enjoyed boating and fishing. Survivors include his wife Ann; father, Patrick Joseph McIntyre Jr., of Millington, TN; daughters, Karen Kristina Hutson of Tupelo, MS; sons, James Vernon Lanham of Tupelo, MS; Thomas Dewey Lanham of Tupelo, MS; sisters, Maureen Kay of Memphis TN; Francine Bowhay of Howell, AR; Harriett Cooper of Atoka, TN; brothers, Lawrence McIntyre, of Apopka, FL; Martin McIntyre of Belton, TX; step daughters, Laura King of Reston, VA; Rebecca Harvey of Brownsville, PA; step son, Kevin O''Shea of Moon Township, PA; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and six step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma C. McIntyre, brother Patrick John McIntyre and sister Corrine McIntyre. Memorial services will be Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755 Highway 51 N, Millington, TN.
