Obituary

Mr. James Robert Haskett, Jr., 89, resident of Millington, Tennessee, passed away on March 23, 2019.  Bob leaves his precious son, Bobby Clark; his long time friend, Faye Owen; and many friends from all over.  He was retired from the Navy, served in the Korean War, was a great patriot, and was extremely politically active.  He was talented in many skills, including welding, electronics and farming.  He was a great innovator.  At one time he owned several recycling bins, and had a worm farm.  Bob managed Radio Shack for many years and helped 100's of people with their satellite systems, which is how he met "Ms. Faye", as he called her.  Bob could fix just about anything!  He was always trying to help everyone, went above and beyond, and asked little in return.  He was the treasurer for the Memphis Area Beekeepers.  He and Ms. Faye were avid gardeners, and loved to share the fruit of their labors all over the county and beyond.  He was certainly the greatest Daddy ever, and took wonderful care of his wife, Billie, who was blind and is now deceased.  Bob was certainly one of the finest men God ever created, and will be greatly missed by all.

The family has requested that you join them for a visitation on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow, all at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
