James Edwin Glover, 82, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Residence. Mr. Glover was a charter member of Georgian Hills Baptist Church where he served as deacon, chairman of the deacon board, treasurer, and was on numerous committees. He retired as a Supervisor at Dupont after over 30 years. He enjoyed puttering around the home, fixing anything, doing yard work, handyman chores at home. In his free time he also fished, golfed, and camped. His survivors include his wife, Mary Thompson Glover of Millington; his children, Marty Glover of Marion, AR; Larry (Debbie) Glover of Lakeland; and Donna (Michael) Golladay of Cordova; step children, Patricia (Jackie) Johnson of Brandon, MS; Tim (Donna) Thompson of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Stephanie (Oscar) Hoyle of Southaven; Steven Golladay of Houston, TX; Bethany (Brandon) Messer of Horseshoe Lake, AR; Kimberly Golladay of Memphis; step grandchildren; Tim (Carolyn) Johnson; Matthew Johnson; Jessica (Ben) Arnold; Amber (Kyle) Hunt; and Patrick Johnson; great grandchildren, Shannon Marie;Braden; Olivia;Callan;Chandler;and Charlianne; and a brother, Milton (Betty) Glover of Grand Bay, AL. Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Helen E. Glover. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 5-7. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
