JAMES H. GILBERT, 78, of Memphis, TN, died Friday, July 24, 2009. Born July 9, 1931 in Hico, LA, he was the son of the late Howard Gilbert and Lorena Gilbert. Retired from the William B. Tanner Company, he has served as Inventory Control Accountant. Survivors include his wife, Helen; sister, Ruth Harlon of Dubach, LA, and his loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 10 a.m. at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bartlett, TN, where he was a long time member. Visitation at church immediately before service from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment in Cape Girardeau, MO at Memorial Park Cemetery.
