IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Irene Esther
Fedorenko
July 17, 1936 – March 27, 2022
On March 27th, 2022 Irene Esther Fedorenko of Cordova, TN died at the age of 85. Irene was born the middle child of three sisters to Russell and Dorothy Anderson in 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. Irene enjoyed playing the organ and in 1960 graduated from Detroit Bible College with her diploma for Music and Christian Education. In 1962 she married Elmer Fedorenko and the two were wed on October 13th in Plymouth, Michigan. They moved west settling in San Jose, California and together they raised two sons Daniel and David. After moving a little further north Irene enjoyed volunteering for many years at their church, Community Presbyterian Church of Danville, California. She loved all things relating to Queen Elizabeth and the British Royal Family and in 1997 finally made her "trip of a lifetime" to visit England and Buckingham Palace. With her sons grown and the passing of her own mother, Irene moved from California to her mother's previous home in the town of Wakarusa, Indiana where her oldest sister Joanne and family also lived. She set down roots joining Wakarusa Missionary Church and formed many strong friendships. After several years she eventually moved to Tennessee to be with her remaining sister Francis and family. Irene is remembered for her smile, "make the best of it" attitude and kindness to all. She is survived by sons Daniel and David, daughter-in-laws Stephanie and Lauren and grandchildren Blake, Elise and Audrey.
