Ida Mae Alford, 97, of Southaven, MS went to her heavenly home Wednesday, December 31 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jessie D. Alford and her four brothers; Gene, Wayne, Lynn, and R.D. Weaver. She is survived by three children; James D. Alford (Nancy) of St. Joe, AR, Johnny W. Alford (Phyllis) of Olive Branch, MS, and Sandra A. Downs (Ray) of Hernando, MS; five grandchildren, Keith Alford (Quian) of Tulalip, WA, Brian Alford (Linda) of Yellville, AR, Jessie Alford (Kathleen) of Mountain Home, AR, Amy A. House (Jody) of Charlotte, NC, Greg Wallace (Michelle) of Plainfield, VT; and two great grandchildren, Abby House and Keenan Wallace. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 3 at Graceview Presbyterian Church in Southaven, MS. Graveside services will follow at 2:45 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, Millington, TN. Memorial contribution may be made in her name to St. Jude Children''s Hospital
