It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and uncle, Hulon (Randy) Hinkson, who entered eternal rest on August 20, 2026 at the age of 86. Born on April 1, 1940 in Memphis, Tn, Randy lived a life filled with love, faith, family and countless memories of the lives touched by him. He was always willing to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a comforting word to those around.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and memories. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of 63 years, his daughter, Lisa Burney (Kevin); grandchildren – Brittany Burney (Kenny), Mallory Birke (Joshua), Kevin R. H. Burney, and Kalyn Burney (Jeremy); great grandchildren – Aubree, Christopher, Kynlie, Alayah, Jolene, Magnolia, Lucas, and one on the way; Sister, Patricia Warren.

He was predeceased in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Hinkson; his son – Joseph (Joe) Hinkson; siblings – Carroll Hinkson, Gaylon Hinkson, and Barbara Vaughn.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that this goodbye is not forever. We hold tightly to the promise found in scripture; “Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord”. We rejoice in knowing that Randy is now at peace, free from pain and suffering, and resting in the loving presence of our heavenly Father.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the foundation for autism awareness. Family will advise of a celebration at a later date.
