Henry Andrews Ripplemeyer II went home to be with his lord and savior Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
The only son of the late Lieutenant Colonel Henry Andrews and Geogia Pittman Ripplemeyer, he was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, December 29, 1937. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Harriette Wood and Sara Wallace, and his son, Robert Paul Andrews. He is survived by his sister, Catherine Beckham, five nephews, and two nieces. He was a devoted member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
Henry Andrews Ripplemeyer II survived the December, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor at the age of 4, while his father was assigned to Hickman field. During his life''s journey, he resided in Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, and Delaware. He attended Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. Before he retired from both the Dunn & Bradstreet and Proctor and Gamble Companies, he served his country as a U.S Army Military Policeman.
