Harry Whitney "Whit" Walker, 73, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, in Memphis, TN. Whit was the co-owner and Vice President of Walker Radiator Woks, Inc. in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruth Gayleene Walker; sons and daughter-in-laws, Travis Wolfe and Tina Walkerand Gabe Whitson Walker; daughter, Jamesia Whitney Walker O'Kelly; brother and sister-in law, Ira Vernon and Georgia Walker; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris Marie and Billy Vick and Ethel "Boots" Holcomb: Ten grandchildren and One great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Wolfe and Lillian Beatrice Walker and sister Gladys Louise Cooley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home., A Celebration of LIfe Service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Chapel. Private interment will be in the Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
