IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harry Everett
Davies
April 3, 1949 – December 13, 2025
Harry Davies was born on April 3, 1949 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on December 13, 2025. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Harry lived a life of faithful service and dedication, and quietly joy. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 23 years, where his musical talent led him to play in the Navy band. Through his service Harry, had the rare honor of performing before Presidents, royalty, and dignitaries. An experience that reflected both his discipline and his God-given gift for music. In 1982, Harry met the love of his life, Sandra "Sandy" Davies. The two were married in 1983 beginning a devoted partnership marked by love, faith, and steadfast care. One of Harry's greatest joy was taking care of sandy, a role he embraced with gentleness and devotion throughout their life together. Harry found deep fulfillment in his faith and his church community. he loved studying scripture, teaching Sunday- school, playing the flute during church service, and singing in the choir. his faith was not only something he believed, but something he lived out daily through service, kindness, and and humility. Outside of church, Harry found joy in working in his garden and in the careful, creative work fixing model trains. After retiring from Shelby county school as a bus driver, he continued doing what he loved at the hobby shop, repairing model trains and building special trucks for customers-work that reflected his patience, craftsmanship, and love for detail. Harry is survived by his wife, Sandra Davies; his sister, Alice Jane Davies-Palacious(Steve); along with family and dear friends who loved him deeply. He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris J. Davies, and his father George H. Davies. Though our heart grieve his absence, we hold onto the hope of eternal life, trusting that Harry now rest in the loving arms of his savior.
