Harrell Royce "Pop" Sandifer, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Baptist Memphis Hospital. Mr. Sandifer worked for AutoZone Headquarters in Memphis. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Arlington. Harrell was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Bunyon and Joyce Sandifer; one grandchild, Caleb Smith; one sister, Doris Forrest and her husband, Johnny; and one brother, Glen Sandifer and his wife Beverly. He is survived by, his wife of 39 years, Jo-Ann Sandifer; five daughters, Melinda Kerry (Coy) of Broken Arrow, OK, Teresa Morgan (Ken) of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheryl Stallings (David) of Lakeland, TN, Shannon Sandifer of Colorado Springs, CO and Laura Wallace (Richard) of Stonewall, LA; Three sons, Randy Smith (Joy) of Drummonds, TN, Butch Smith and Bill Smith both of Shreveport, LA; also one sister, Wanda Kay McVicar of Livonia, MI; and one brother, Johnny Sandifer (Virgie) of Waskom, TX; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; also many other family members, friends and co-workers, and church members who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be on Monday, June 15, 2020, from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church in Arlington. Funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will be in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery.
