Harold Duane Briner, 95, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born on September 19, 1929 to the late Orville and Emma Briner. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy. While he was stationed in Millington, TN, he met his future wife Betty Joyce Kruse. They were married for over 60 years.

Mr. Briner was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce and his son, Don Briner.

He leaves two children, Barbara Meeks, and Debra Williamson. He was grandfather of 6, and great-grand-father of 7.

Mr. Briner worked for 40 plus years at Dupont. After retirement he and Joyce traveled and enjoyed the cultures of other countries He also enjoyed wood working as a hobby. He was a charitable person, donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Boys Town, Easter Seals and many others. He enjoyed living in Bartlett TN. He volunteered at the Bartlett Police Department  and also volunteered many years at the Methodist North Hospital. In the last few years he enjoyed his frequent lunches with his Dupont "buddies".

Harold will be greatly missed by his family, friends and many neighbors. He was a kind and generous man.
