Obituary

Hal Roy Crutchfield, 65, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Memphis, TN. Hal fought proudly for our country in Vietnam while serving in the United States Army from 1967 - 1968. He was a devoted member of the West Frayser Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Treasurer & Sunday School Teacher. He was a coach for the Special Olympics basketball team and he retired from Witco after 27 years of employment. He is survived by his Wife: Vicki Crutchfield, Son: Chuck Crutchfield, Daughter: Amanda Bandy, Step-Daughter: Breyan Hall, Brother: John Crutchfield, 4 grandchildren, 3 nephews and 1 niece. He was also known as "Daddy" to many adopted children. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Glenda Crutchfield, parents: Roy and Dorothy Crutchfield and sister: Lillian Crutchfield. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the West Frayser Baptist Church. Interment will full military honors will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN.
