Gordon Allan Crawford passed in peace Tuesday, April 16th, 2019, with family by his side, in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 79.
A celebration of Gordon's life will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery in Millington, Tennessee.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., and the service at 11:00 a.m. Gordon was a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy.  He was a former member of Millington First United Methodist Church, where he sang in the church choir, also a member of the Millington Rotary Club, the Millington Kiwanis club, the Lakeland Lions club, and AA.  He was a great father and grandfather.  He loved to fish, golf, and create with his hands. Gordon is survived by his sister, Kathy Reinhold (Dennis); his brother, Fred Crawford (Lynette); his daughters, Carla Schurtz (Patrick) and Cindy Brock (Chris); four grandchildren, Brandon Reed, Brian Reed, Caleb Brock, and Carley Brock; and great-grandchild, Brayden Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Peggy Crawford of Reading, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to West Clinic or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
