George William James Jr, 74, of Millington, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Millington Healthcare. Mr. James dearly loved his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and motor bikes. He was an accomplished handyman and a Specialized Diesel Mechanic for Cummins. He was often asked by Cummins to travel to repair a rig or ship in North or South America.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, his daughters, Wanda (Joseph) Marcello of Millington; and Rhonda Vazquez of New Orleans; four grandchildren, Marc Vazquez; Vincent Vazquez both of New Orleans;Jeremy Ross; and Joseph Paul Marcello IV both of Millington; and two great grandchildren, Aiden Vazquez and Savannah Marcello; sisters, Nell Anderson; Sue Polk; and Billy Jack James all of Hattiesburg, MS; and Lucy Tye of Raiford, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Berdie Bell Felts James; and his brother, George Thaeddeus James.

The family received friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Monday, December 17, 2012 from Noon - 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services were Monday at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. William Catholic Church 4932 Easley St. Millington, TN 38053; (901) 872-4099.
