George Alan Crabb, 80, of Munford, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Baptist East Hospital after a long illness surrounded by his family. He was born November 21, 1943 in Los Angeles, California  to George and Audrey Crabb who preceded him in death. George had a long and successful career at the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections, where he worked 25 years. Outside of work, he had a passion for music, poetry, movies and spending time with his family.

George leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Frances Diane of Munford, Tennessee who he was married to for 55 years. He also leaves his two sons, Charles Alan Crabb and Kevin Michael Crabb (Cindy), two grandchildren, Alana Bassi (Scott) and Nick Crabb and one great grandchild, Anthony Bassi.  He also leaves a sister, Dale Clark of Ripley.

George's life will be celebrated with a funeral visitation at 10:30 am and a graveside service at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 28th, 2024 immediately after the visitation at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 Hwy 51 North, Millington, TN 38053.
