George Burnett-Age 97 of Millington, TN went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2018. He was born on May 18, 1920 to Lucious and Katie Burnett in Toone, TN. George was a member of Faith Heritage Baptist Church. He worked for DuPont for many years until he retired. He also served in the United States Navy.
George is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bettie Burnett; his parents; son, Tony Burnett; 2 brothers, Deutroe and Lucious Burnett. Survivors include daughter, Deborah; 2 sons, Ronnie and Kim Burnett, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11am-1pm. Funeral service will be at 1pm with interment to follow. All services at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
