Geneva Francis Christian 74, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in Memphis, TN. Geneva was born on January 14, 1935 in Florence, Alabama to Noel and Nannie Sims. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 12, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home at 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 11 from 6-9 pm at Northridge Funeral Home.
Geneva was a member of the VFW 7175 in Millington, TN, the Eastern Star, and was formerly a nurse at Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, California. Geneva is survived by her husband, George Christian of Memphis; daughters, Diane Lynn McGlaughlin; sister Bernice Ennis; four grandchildren, seven great-grand children, Neice, Shirley and (Kenneth) Buchanan, nephew, Bobby and (Juanita) Cooper, and numerous other grand-nieces and nephews.
