Millington/ Memphis Garry Owens, age 46 passed away at Methodist Hospital on February 27, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Owens, his sister, Gloria Owens and his brother, Harry Owens, Jr. He has lived with his father Harry F. Owens, Sr. and his step-mother, Peggy Owens in Millington, TN Garry leaves a daughter, Ashley Owens and two brothers Terry (wife JoAnn), and Jack Owens; both of Millington and a sister, Cecelia Cash of Memphis and one step-sister, Tania Childers of Hernando, MS. He also leaves Deanna Dean, his fiancee and love of his life for many years. He has worked for in maintenance for the State of Tennessee all of his adult life. He leaves nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, not to mention a host of wonderful friends. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and we all enjoyed it with him. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all. In his death, Garry has given the gift of life by donating his organs for transplant patients. Pastor Jacob Hutchison, Living Manna Church of God will officiate the service.
