Freddie Lee Huggins, 84, died at the VA Medical Center in Memphis on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Mr. Huggins was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He loved golf and enjoyed watching football and car races. He was a retired Truck Driver for Gordon''s Transport. Survivors include his children, Steve Huggins (Patty) of Olive Branch, MS; and Sharon Huggins Fish (Gary) of Lakeland, TN; granddaughters, Amy Carver (Jeremy); and Ashley Murphy (Chad) both of Bartlett; and one great grandson, Canon Carver. Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Wayne. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, February 15 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38104.
