Franklin Keith Strong Sr., 80, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Memphis, TN. Franklin served proudly in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife: Betty Strong; son: Franklin K. Strong Jr.; daughter: Cynthia Dawn Chafin; sisters: Joyce Goodloe, Sally Browning, Laura Karr and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rudolf and Goldie Strong and brothers: Rudy and Donnie Strong. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 16 at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
