Frank Rogers, Sr.    March 22, 1945 - April 12, 2023

Frank Rogers, Sr. 78 of Millington passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Frank served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Continental Trailways and later retired from Miller Transporters in 2008.

He was a member of the Millington Church of the Nazarene. Frank was a honorable man of God, a wonderful husband and father. He taught his kids to do what's right (even if no one is looking), keep your word, and help your friend or neighbor if you can.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents: Marion H. and Lillian(Craver) Rogers, two brothers; M. Howard Rogers and John Rogers, a sister Marlene Bates, and his beloved son Frank "Bubba" Rogers, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma Rogers. A daughter, Lauri Livingston(Scott), two grandchildren: Melanie Raymond(Dustin) and Caleb Hutchison and one great granddaughter: Madalyn Raymond among many extended family members.

Frank was known for his recycling skills and dealing in scrap metal. He enjoyed gospel and classic country music. He was always smiling with a story to tell. If you knew him, you loved him.

A celebration and memorial service will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington. Visitation is Thursday, April 20 at 1:00. The memorial service will start at 2:00. His ashes will be buried next to his son Bubba at a later date.
