Francis Raymond "Butch" Schirra Jr, 67, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his Millington home. He was a retired computer specialist with the Navy Exchange. He was a longtime resident of Millington. He was a member of Saint William Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6321, American Legion Post 252, and the National Rifle Association. He is survived by a brother, Charles (Cas) Schirra of Powhatan, VA; and a sister, Jane (Martin) Wiseman of Moscow, TN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Henrietta DePauw and Francis Raymond Schirra; and a sister, Rebecca. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral Services will be at St William Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to the Saint William debt reduction fund or the Jason Foundation.
