Louise Atkins, 99, died March 3, 2014. She was born Frances Louise Green on June 14, 1914 in Millville, FL to James R. and Julia McBride Green. She was a graduate of Millington High School and spent most of her life living in Frayser. She was a very active member of Schoolfield United Methodist Church, Church Women United and Eastern Star. She worked as a floral designer for several florist in the Memphis area. She loved everyone and told them so. She was a great witness to the Lord and lived a faith filled life. Always giving words of encouragement to each life that she touched. The Lord has blessed her with HIS priceless gift of peace. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Atkins. She leaves many nieces and nephews who all loved their "Aunt Lese". Visitation 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home with services immediately following at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
