It is with great heart break and sadness that the family of Floyd
Berryhill announces his passing after a brief illness, on Thursday
1/31/2019, at the age of 81 years. Mr. Berryhill was born in
Caperville, TN on August 11, 1937 to William and Sally (Gaines)
Berryhill. He has been a long time resident of Millington, TN. Floyd
will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Olene and his
children John (Beverly), Mark (Linda), and Matt (Joann). Floyd will
also be forever remembered by his 9 grandchildren Matthew
(Jackllin), Tasha (Ryan), Little Mark, Timmy, Jessica (Wesley), and
Brittany. He was preceded in death by one grandchild Christopher
Floyd Berryhill. He will also be fondly remembered by 5 great
grandchildren Hannah, Aiden, Liam, Rebecca, and Christian. Floyd
was also preceded in death by his parents William and Sally (Gaines)
Berryhill, also two sisters Joyce Reed, Betty (Sister) Donaldson, and
three brothers James Berryhill, Charles Berryhill, Thomas Berryhill.
Floyd will truly be missed by his surviving siblings Shirley Buchanan,
Helen (Mickie) Leopard, and Bobby Berryhill. Floyd will be fondly
remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and
dear friends.
Floyd loved his family dearly. He was a dedicated husband, father,
grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and brother-in-law. He always
tried to speak to each one everyday. Floyd was a religious person;
he loved God with all his heart. He attended the Apostolic Church at
4209 Shelby Rd. in Millington, TN for approximately 60 years. He was
also an avid car enthusiast. He worked at Wax Oil for 20 or more
years. He loved to paint and work on his cars. He was a collector of
many items cards, watches, coins and many other things.
Arrangement date and times will be provided at a later time.
Services will be held at The Apostolic Church, 4209 Shelby Rd.,
Millington, TN 38053
With Interment will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755
US Highway 51 N., Millington, TN 38053
