Eugene Alvin Turner, 85, of Brighton, TN passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Victoria Turner; parents, Artemis and Eva Sue Turner; and a sister, Estelle Christmas. He is survived by his daughters: Ellen Hardee(Wayne), Teresa Mitchell(Dan), and Ronda Palmer; grandchildren: April Spivey(Frank), Rachel Poole(Steve Meyers), Megan Keene, Kelsi Vance(Lee), and Logan Palmer; great-granddaughter, Emma Belle Meyers; brother, Carroll Turner(Elsie); sisters: Christine Reeser, Josephine Hucks(Greg), and Judy Turner; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Turner retired from the United States Navy. After his Navy service, he went on to pursue a career at Fairway Towers as a maintenance engineer, from where he also retired. He loved his family and his Chihuahua, Chloe. In his free time he enjoyed search a word books and listening to country music.
