Eugene Fields, 88 of Millington, passed away August 8, 2022.

He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He loved sports and was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed western movies and spending time with his family. He had a special love and bond with his grandson Daniel, the boy he finally got after raising three girls with Ms. Eleanor.

Eugene is survived by his three daughters, Denise Bledsoe, Pamela R. Williams, and Lisa L. Doering; and one grandson, Daniel Bledsoe.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor Cook Fields; his parents Clyde Fields and Noni King; two sisters; and five brothers.
