Obituary

Ethel "Sue" Lightsey Morris, 89 of Burlison, passed away April 9, 2023.

She is survived by one son, Robert Lightsey (Karen); daughter, Renee Lightsey Coulston (Malcolm); two brothers, Don King and Larry King; grandchildren, Jaime Carlson, Jeremy Lightsey (Nichole), Leslie Coulston, Jonathan Lightsey (Evelyn), Bradley Coulston (Angie), and Christen Carter; and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Lightsey (1985), second husband, Jack Morris (2018), two sons, Neil Lightsey (1972) and Bobby Lightsey (2013); parents, George and Opal King; and two brothers, James King and Jerry King.

Ms. Sue was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Covington. She was an avid bowler for over 50 years, she competed in national tournaments and competed in 48 of the United States. She enjoyed life, traveling, and people. She never met a stranger and those who knew her, loved her. She loved her family and her home was the center of many gatherings.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
