Ernest P. Hughes, 93, of Memphis, TN passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Carrie Hughes; 2 daughters, Treena Hutchison and Donna Hughes; 2 sisters; and 6 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Hughes; daughter, Sharon Douglas (Mike, deceased); son, Steve Hughes (Terri); son, Randy Yarbro (Rita); daughter, Lisa Hughes; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hughes served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from Pepsi Cola after 25+ years of service. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.
