Elmer Franklin Wright (Dicky) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Elmer was 87 years young and resided in Bartlett, TN. Elmer proudly served his country for over 20 years and retired from the United States Marine Corp. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. As a civilian, Elmer retired from Loomis Fargo after 19 years. Elmer was a proud and faithful member of Cornerstone Church in Memphis, TN.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Wright; his parents, Earnest and Catherine Wright; his brothers, Bill Wright, Max Wright, Ray Wright and Enos Wright; his sister Doris May Wright.

Elmer is survived by his two sons, Michael (Becky) Wright and Richard Wright; his three Granddaughters, Stacie Byard, Pamela Wright, Karen Diaz; his grandson, Chance Keeley; his great grandchildren, Kayla Bozarth, Sarah Byard and Jeremiah Byard; and his great great grandson, Tripp Bozarth.

Services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Cornerstone Church, 2385 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133. Visitation will be from 10:00 am til 11:00 am. Services will start at 11:00 am.

The graveside service will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington TN 38053 at 2:30 pm.
