Elmer V. English went home to be with Lord, Jesus Christ, on April 20th, 2023. Vallis worked at the United States Postal Service until he retired. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being at his farm in Camden, TN, where he spent the remaining years of his life. He enjoyed his favorite time in Pigeon Forge, TN, where he loved being at Dollywood with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucy English; one sister, Rhonda Lown; one brother, Arnold English; nieces, nephews, and children, Donna Maxwell (Bill), Charlotte Ray, Lucy Hindman (Kelly); grandchildren, Sarah Maxwell, Grace Golden, Johnathon Dunn, McKenzie Dunn, Landon Crisp and Haley Ray; two great grandchildren and one baby girl due September 2023. He preceded by his parents Elmer B. English and Katie English.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 9-10 am with funeral services starting at 10 am. Burial will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
