Elizabeth "Liz" Mary (Verhey) Sneller of Millington, TN was born in Oudewater, the Netherlands, on July 4, 1941.  On October 13, 2018, she passed away unexpectedly at Methodist Hospital in downtown Memphis, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Jerald Lee Sneller, of Millington, TN.  Surviving sons are Russell Jay (Sabrina) Sneller of Bartlett, TN and Terry Lee Sneller of Millington, TN.  Liz was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Kay (Eugene) Parish and parents Pieter and Metje (Alblas) Verhey.  Liz was the proud grandmother of Jeremy Russell (Katie) Sneller, David Martin (Jessika) Parish, Joshua Robert (Erin) Sneller, Jackqueline Nichole (Daniel) Avanzi, Andrew Lee Sneller and Amanda, and Cheyenne Kai Sneller, great-grandmother of eighteen, and had numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Surviving siblings are Mary and Walter Miller of Newton, Iowa, Mick and Dick Dunsbergen of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Gerrit and Linda J. Verhey, Pete, Jr. and Carol Verhey, Nellie and Mark Vander Schel all of Pella, Iowa, Randy and Linda Verhey of Otley, Iowa, and Dennis and Sharon Verhey of Pella, Iowa.  Liz was preceded in death by siblings Abe (Pam) Verhey and Nellie and Abraham, that both died in infancy.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home; 6755 Highway 51 North; Millington, TN 38053.  Funeral services will be held at the same address on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
