Elizabeth H. Higdon, 86, of Memphis died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Methodist North Hospital. Mrs. Higdon was a member of Faith Bible Church on Benjestown Road and a banker for NBC Bank over 40 years.

She was one of the most loving people you might ever meet. She often met strangers, became friends and adopted them as part of her own family regardless of race or creed.

Mrs. Higdon is survived by her husband, Walter T. "Cowboy" Higdon; a nephew, Kenneth Brooks, and a cousin, Janelle Allen.

The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home Monday, April 1, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
