Eleanor Jeanette "Ellie" (Cook) Fields of Millington, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was 94.

Ellie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was the first-born daughter of Tecumseh Deerfoot Cook, Chief of the Pamunkey Indian Reservation in King William County, Virginia.
Ellie was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, friend, and long-time member of First Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Bledsoe, Pamela Williams and Lisa Doering; her grandson, Daniel Bledsoe; her husband, Eugene Fields; and her brother, Warren Cook.
