Dorothy Evelyn Wright, spouse of Rev. Edward Abednego Wright, WWII veteran, made her transition to be with Christ in Glory on Tuesday morning at 4:45 a.m. April 5, 2011 in Memphis, TN. Dorothy Wright was married 67 years to her most beloved husband. They traveled their lives together always as one, spreading the Word of God to all. She also served as an Eastern Star affiliate. She left footprints on the hearts of all she met and they never will forget her teachings. One could say she was an "Angel Unaware" and will be exceedingly missed by her family. Dorothy leaves two daughters, Mary Kolivas-Martin and Jeannie Stewart, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-gandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters, 4 brothers, and survived by 1 brother, Ernie Reeves of Mobile, AL. Viewing will be Friday, April 8, from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m., both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery will be private.
