DOROTHY Y. WOOD, 84 of Memphis, died Saturday April 18, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Spencer L. Wood, Sr. and one sister Baye Blanton. She is survived by two sons, John E. (Mabel) Bell and Spencer L. Jr. (Sandra) Wood, two sisters, Ethel Green and Shirley Crews, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Rugby Hills Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, April 20, 2009. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home with burial in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
