Dorothy Cates Watkins, 89, of Munford, TN passed away on January 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm with services to follow at 2 pm with burial at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
Dorothy was born in Ripley, TN to Offie and Carrie Cates on February 2, 1927. Dorothy attended school in Halls, TN. Dorothy was married on December 21, 1946 in Desoto County, Mississippi to John P. Watkins.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years and both her parents. Dorothy is survived by her son, Phillip Watkins, her two daughters, Melinda Watkins-Cates and Shelia Lewis, her four granddaughters, Kristi Dulin, Sheri Stone, Teresa Moore and Chelsea Hall, Six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter
