Dorothy Jane Duvall Moore, 80, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home in Ripley, TN. Mrs. Moore was a school crossing guard for Georgian Hills Elementary School and Cafeteria Worker at Georgian Hills Junior High School. She was in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active young lady, enjoying Basketball, Bowling, and fishing. She is described as the "best fisherman on the lake" catching fish when no one else could. Mrs. Moore is survived by her children, Lucian Montell (Teresa) Moore of Millington; and Gary Don Moore of Bartlett; grandchildren, Stacey (Jay) Peterson of Collierville; Steven Moore of Tampa; Valarie (Craig) Morris of Munford; and Peyton Moore of Germantown; great grandchildren, Avery Peterson; Trey Peterson; and Hayden Moore; and a sister, Minnie Lee Hawkins of West Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodford Decatur and Ethel Lee Herron Duvall; and her husband of 61years, Lucian M. Moore. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2015, from 5-8. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
