Dorothy Jean Miles, 77, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Miles was a very generous, giving friend. She loved sharing with others and especially her grandchildren. She also loved Bingo, and the Casinos. Surviving Mrs. Miles is her daughter, Catherine Anne Daniel (Hal) of Memphis; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Miles; and her son, James V. Miles Jr. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In Fort Worth Texas the family will receive friends at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home 2301 N. Sylvania Ave. Fort Worth, TX on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. The family requests that memorials be sent to either St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or to the charity of the donors choice.
