Doris Jean Day, age 81, of Bartlett, TN, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, and services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mrs. Day was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Downtown Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Day. She leaves two sons, Danny G. (Gail) Day of Selmer, TN and Charles R. (Anita) Day of Bartlett; one daughter, Susan (Gene) Harrison of Bartlett; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
