Donald Keith Smith, 85, of Millington, TN, passed away Thurday, November 26, 2009 at Methodist North Hospital. He was a retired Master Chief from the U.S. Navy and retied from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a former member of the Millington Rotary Club; past Master of Millington Masonic Lodge #671 in 1996 and 2007; member of Eastern Star Chapter 385; a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; past President of the Tn Federation of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees; a member of 1sdt United Methodist Church in Millington, TN; and Volunteer (Key Man) at Methodist North Hospital for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn L. Smith, son Donald E. Smith (Debby) of Millington, TN. and two sisters, Janis Atkins of Cincinnati, OH; and Eleanor Richmond of South Charleston, WV. Vistitations will be held at Northidge Woodhaven Funeral Home, Sunday, November 29th, from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at 1st Undited Methodist Church, 8029 Wilkinsvilel Rd., Millington, TN Monday, November 30, 2009, Aat 11 AM, Burial will follow services in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN 38053.
