Don Putman, 62, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. Mr. Putman was an Environmental Consultant over 30 years and was the owner of Southeast Safety Compliance. He was a devout Christian and a member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church Olive Branch, MS. He was a simple man who enjoyed fishing and singing but most of all, he was a family man. He spent his life making personal sacrifices so that his wife, children and grandchildren would have provisions. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon Lynne Byars Putman of Memphis; two sons, Jason (Paula) Putman of St. Louis, MO; and Aaron Lane Putman of Cordova; twin daughters, Kristen Lynne Putman Eisan; and Lindsey Gayle Putman (William) Vrooman both of Olive Branch; grandchildren, Layne Warner Ingram; Avery Grayson Vrooman; Hayden Lynne Vrooman; and Nicholas Putman; niece, Natalie Nicole Stover; nephew, Preston Stover; sister-in-law, Brenda Gayle Byars "Sissy" Stover all of Atlanta: and mother-in-law, Varena Putman. Don was preceded in death by his parents Wayne Pittman Putman and June Smith Putman; and a brother, Ronald Putman. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
