Dennis Bumgardner "Poppy"

Born August 7, 1948 Called to Glory June 26, 2026.

He leaves his wife of 57 years, Donna, his son Terry (Courtney), his daughter Stacy Brice (Kirt).

He also leaves 4 grandchildren: Annie, Dennis(Kassie), Logan(Kayla), and David. He leaves behind 3 great-grandchildren; DJ Brice, Johnnie Brice, and a great-grandchild (Dennis). He also leaves a custodial son, Dakota. He also leaves behind a brother, Bobby Collier of California.

His life was centered around his family and his church. He faithfully attended and served at Gateway Baptist (Hammond Hills Baptist Church) Church for 50 years. In his service at Gateway, he ministered in many roles as a coach, bus captain, and mentor to multitudes of children and young adults.

He was a loyal and  proud member of Local IBEW 474 for over 50 years.
