Darlene Tanner, age 57, of Millington, TN passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Tanner leaves her husband of 40 years, Buddy Tanner of Millington; one son, Tony Tanner (and wife Lori) of Bartlett, TN; one daughter, Lisa Rosengarten (and husband Adam) of Collierville, TN; her mother, Maurine Hood, brother, Jimmy Hood, and sister, Diana Carr, all of Brighton, TN; and five grandchildren, Alyssa, Chase, Garrett, Hannah and Riley. She was preceded in death by her father, Dores T. Hood; two brothers, Sammy and Joey Hood; and one sister, Donna Downs. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, and services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 27, both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
