IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dale Lee
Seaton
November 20, 1961 – April 29, 2024
Dale Lee Seaton,62, passed away on the morning of April 29, 2024, after a very tough, short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He was surrounded by family and friends at his home. He was born on November 20, 1961, in Memphis, TN to L.Q. and Helen Gidcomb Seaton .
Dale graduated from Trezevant High School and State Tech community college. After graduation he went to work for Kodak/Kodak Alaris as an Electronic Service Technician for 36 years. There he made lifelong, lasting friendships. He was a devoted outdoorsman who loved to spend his time hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed watching sports. He spent many years at the ballfield with his son and daughter. If you knew Dale, then you knew that he was a handy man, and could build or fix anything. His family loved the phrase, "If Dad can't fix it, then we're all screwed." Dale was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. Above all else, he was a Christian, God-fearing man. Dale spent the last year of his life dedicated fully to the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.Q. Seaton and Helen Gidcomb Seaton, and his sister, Debbie Haun Smith (Stan Smith).
Dale married Phyllis Bomprezzi Seaton in August of 1987. Dale and Phyllis had two children, Sam Seaton and Hannah Seaton. Dale became a Grandaddy to Harper Laine Seaton in 2020 and Maggie McKinley Seaton in 2023.
He is survived by his life-partner, Phyllis Bomprezzi Seaton, his daughter, Hannah Seaton, his son, Samuel Seaton, his daughter-in-law Allie Boyd Seaton, his two granddaughters Harper Laine Seaton and Maggie McKinley Seaton, his brother, Don Seaton (Jackie Seaton), his sister, Kathy Smith (Gary Smith), and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family members.
The family will receive friends Monday May 6, 2024 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday May 7, 2024 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Interment will be held immediately following in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Dale would appreciate donations be made to his church, SoulQuest, in Jackson, TN. https://www.soulquestchurch.com/giving
