Obituary

Connon Doyle "Red" Wyatt, age 91, a longtime Memphis resident went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2020, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. C.D. Wyatt was an Army Veteran that served in the Korean War and a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. He started his working career as a glazier and went on to become the president of the Glaziers Union Local 242. Following that, he served on the National Labor Relations Board and was a business agent for his local union. During his retirement years, he enjoyed sitting on his porch waving at neighbors, meeting friends at the coffee shop, and sharing old stories with family and friends. He will be deeply missed. He is the son of John Wyatt and Emily Wilson.  He married Elizabeth Wilson on March 10, 1952.  He is survived by son, Perry Neal Wyatt (Dara); daughter Sandy Wyatt Dolce (Todd);  son-in-law, Kenneth Johnson; grandchildren: Shannon Wyatt-Ruvalcaba (Milton), Alisha Wyatt-Bullman (Erik), Sara Martin (Allen) and Wyatt Dolce; great-grandchildren, Ethan Ruvalcaba and Aden Ruvalcaba; and younger brother Kay D. Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Wilson Wyatt, and Daughter, Connie Wyatt Johnson. The family will receive friends for a period of visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 12:30-2:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
