Coleman Ray Starnes, age 77, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his home in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m., both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 Hwy. 51 N. in Millington, TN. Interment to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mr. Starnes was retired as the Superintendent of the Physical Plant at Rhodes College. A loving father and grandfather, he leaves one son, Michael Starnes and his wife, Joey, of Olive Branch, MS; one daughter, Donna Rigsby and her husband, Gary, of Olive Branch; two grandsons, Casey and Justin Hall of Olive Branch; one brother, Billy Gene Starnes of Dallas, TX; one sister, Doris Tackett of Memphis; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved poodle, Discount. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Starnes, and three brothers, Edward, Don and Wade Starnes.
