IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Troyce
Campbell
August 9, 1965 – June 26, 2024
Christopher Troyce Campbell went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 after a brief illness. He was the son of Troyce Galloway Campbell and the late Betty Acy Campbell of Rosemark, TN. Born in Memphis, TN on August 09, 1965, he was just a few weeks shy of his 59th birthday.
Chris grew up in Rosemark, graduating from Bolton High School (class of 1983). He had an immeasurable love for music and an affinity for a fine guitar. Chris was known to share his love of playing the guitar with others. In a way no other could, he would lift the spirits of others in need. He used the musical talents that God gave him and shared without hesitation. Chris had talented hands as evidence by his ability to play the guitar and write music, but also in his skills of welding and carpentry.
Faith, music, and nature were most cherished for Chris. He enjoyed running and working out, especially on a beautiful day. With his love for music, teaching, and the outdoors, it is not surprising that Chris chose a path to study at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. A follower of Christ, Chris was able to blend his talents and share the love of Christ with others as Chaplin in Prison Ministry and teacher.
Chris is survived by his father Troyce Galloway Campbell and his sister Sherry Campbell Gant (Randy), and a plethora of friends. He will be missed beyond words by his family and those who knew him.
The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home for their loving care during this time of grief.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 HWY 51 N Millington, TN 38053. The family will receive friends' visitors who wish to express their condolences from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with Celebration of life service at 2:00 PM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Bible and Literature Missionary Foundation in Shelbyville, TN or to the charity of the donors choice.
"Sing unto Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise."
